Logopress3 Tool Design software can be used with any kind of tool - any kind of SolidWorks assembly. It could be a jig or fixture, a mold, a gage - whatever. The tools in Logopress3 Tool Design software, whether they be the mate manager, the intelligent component library, the Logopress3 bill of materials or anything in between, they all make SolidWorks assemblies easier. But of course the main focus for Logopress3 Tool Design software is for it to be used for progressive die design.

(54:35) The video below is a single, continuous running video that has us importing a dumb, imported solid into SolidWorks and then processing it from start to finish in a strip. As you can see in the picture below, it is an automotive-type (double-curved) part that has no flat surfaces at die level. We then go on to insert this strip into a tool assembly template having only pins and busings. Next we insert some plates and create the cutting punches from scratch. We cut all cavities through all plates for the punches, including cylindrical pilot pierce punches, with all proper clearances. Finally, we create the 3D form punches for the various stations. We do all of this in less than an hour.
Note that there is no sound with this video.
